straight edge is a hardcore punk subculture where u don't do drugs or drink or smoke and i committed to it cuz it helps me to be able to face reality instead of numb it out < 3 some ppl are also vegan which i am and i will never shut up about it. it's not a diet, we shouldn't be taking from/killing anyone if we don't need to. it's a social justice issue like any other, and this one is cool cause we have a lot of power to actually do something about it (by not paying for animals to be killed/exploited) i'll just leave it at that
